Teen Stage Actor-Writer Raaja Jaffrey began his career from India Today as a trainee journalist with a investigative cover story ’The Mood of the Youth’ wherein he was the Cover Model.
Very soon, His brand of journalism gave him an identity of his own and he became the most sought of fire brand journalist and Columnist for top media houses such as- ht group, Times Group, Observer, Sunday Mail, Sahara etc.
He began his Theater journey from Delhi Art Musical Theater, joined late Habib Tanvir’s Naya Theatre. His silent character in AAGRA BAZAAR is considered as a Mile Stone in Stage Performance. Later he joined National School of Drama rep.co. as an Actor. rj has acted in many prominent plays as leading Actor and few popular tv shows and ad films.
He is the President of UTE-India ‘Universal Theater Eyes India’ (an All India Registered Body). Under UTE he has been conducting Theater and Educational Workshops for various sectors in various states for the sole purpose of social reformation.
Raaja Jaffrey has written and adapted many masterpieces such as :
MALBA (dramatization of a academy award winner English novel on Partition tragedy).
MARICHIKA (adaptation of Nirmal Verma’s novel ‘a raag called happiness).

In the year 2000 he began his Advertising career in Mumbai with mx Advtg. Pvt ltd as a Copy Writer & soon became Creative Chief with the Successful accounts like – Birla Plus (Har Nirmaan Ki Jaan), Casper (Machcharon Bharat Chhodho), Fashion Street (Tailor made araam, ready made daam) and other..
Later he joined Swayam Communications as a Creative Director with the Successful accounts like – Classical Basmati (Lamba daana, Lazzatdaar Khaana), Mahaanand Dairy (Doodh ka Dumm, Maa KKassam) etc.
In the year 2005 he came on the board of GKB Optolabs (Carl Zaies) Goa, as a Brand Therapist. His famous Brand Statement (Sirf Nazar nahi, Nazarya bhi) and innovative Campaign established GKB as a Leader in the domestic market.
In 2007 he joined Span Communications ( Mumbai) as a Visiting Creative Director and created Campaigns like – Duniya Jaley To Jaley (Siya Jewellery), Hum Samajhtey Hain Deevaar ka Dard (Marshal Wall Papers), Perfect Plumbing-Zero Defect Technology (Prince Pipes) etc..
As a Creative Consultant to O’ Positive, Water Communication and Saints and Warriors communications pvt ltd his recent Campaigns are : Jis Desh mei Auto Chalta hai (Bajaj Auto), Nothing remains, but the Name (Identity), Har Safar har Sadak, Bedhadak (Mahindra CRX). Amma ji ki Gali [SAB TV] etc.
He has Written more than 100 ad films, radio jingles and spots for various brands. As a Director he got various known TV Commercials in his credentials.
In 2008 raaja jaffrey started developing Sense and Cinema’s Film & TV Script Bank which contains now 41 Feature Films and 5 TV Shows in different stages.
